To bring power to all corners of the state, Iowa’s utilities require extensive infrastructure — pipelines for natural gas and transmission lines and substations for electricity. As Iowa’s energy consumption needs expand in proportion to population growth and business development, it’s important for the IUA’s members to develop new infrastructure and to reinvest in existing energy infrastructure to help ensure secure, reliable delivery of energy for all Iowans.
